Ad-hoc Recycling OperativeTeignbridge | £12.45 per hour | 7am-4:30pm | Ad-hoc Days | Start 10th March | Own Transport Required
IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting Recycling Operatives to join a recycling team in Teignbridge.
This is a hands-on, ad-hoc role involving outdoor work in all weather conditions, sorting recyclable materials, and supporting general site operations.
Key Duties*Correctly sort different recyclable materials.
*Hand-pick or machine-sort materials (paper, plastic, metal, glass) on conveyor belts, removing contaminants.
*Load and unload recycling vehicles and record waste weights.
*Inspect materials for contamination, identify hazardous items, and report issues.
*Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
Requirements*Must have own transport to access the site.
*Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
*Ability to lift heavy items.
*Basic numeracy skills and ability to follow instructions.
*Good attention to detail when identifying materials and contaminants.
*Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and in dusty or noisy environments.
What We Offer*£12.45 per hour.
*7am-4:30pm working hours (days vary).
*Supportive local team environment.
