Job Description:
Estate Operations Coordinator
Location: South London SE3
Rate: £24.35 per hour (LTD)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (occasional evenings for resident meetings)
Contract: Temporary
I’m currently working with a large London-based housing association who are looking to appoint an Estate Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of a large, mixed-use residential estate.
This is a highly resident-focused role, ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys being visible on an estate, liaising with residents, and ensuring services are delivered to a high standard.
The Role
Working closely with the Estate Operations Manager and wider estate team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe running of the estate. Key responsibilities include:
*Acting as a key point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors
*Carrying out regular estate inspections to monitor safety, cleanliness and standards
*Coordinating contractor visits and monitoring performance on-site
*Logging, escalating and following up repairs, defects and estate issues
*Supporting compliance activity and maintaining accurate documentation
*Assisting with resident meetings, engagement activity and community events
*Working collaboratively with housing, property and facilities teams
The Ideal Candidate
*Strong customer service or hospitality background
*Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
*Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy, resident-facing environment
*Comfortable liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders
*Organised, proactive and able to work under pressure
*Experience working in diverse communities
Essential Requirements
*Customer service or hospitality experience
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*IT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Basic DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
*Experience in a similar estate, housing or property-based role
*Contractor liaison or facilities coordination experience
*Housing association or property management exposure
