Interim Operations Manager (FTC) | Poole | £50,000 Pro-Rata
Are you an experienced Operations Manager who excels at keeping fast-paced, large-scale warehouse and logistics environments running smoothly? This Interim Operations Manager role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, resolving daily challenges, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring everything operates efficiently.
This is suited to someone who thrives on structure, momentum, and day-to-day problem-solving. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining service levels and supporting a busy team during a period of increased demand.

As an Interim Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
*Overseeing daily warehousing, distribution, and logistics activities
*Managing stock control and monitoring inventory accuracy
*Leading, motivating, and supporting Warehouse Managers, Team Leaders, and Operatives
*Maintaining communication with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations
*Monitoring quality, delivery times, and efficiency on a day-to-day basis
*Resolving operational issues promptly to uphold service levels
To be an Interim Operations Manager, your experience will include:
*Previous experience within warehousing, distribution, FMCG, or a high-volume manufacturing environment
*Proven analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
*Manging and understaning the KPIs. and reporting upwards on them
*Experience working with a wide range of SKUs and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
*Proven people management skills with the ability to keep teams focused and productive
*Strong communication skills, with confidence in dealing with suppliers and internal teams
*Solid organisational and problem-solving abilities in fast-moving settings
*A track record of staying calm under pressure and meeting operational deadlines
