This is a fantastic opportunity for a Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant who is looking to develop within a supportive practice environment, gaining broad exposure across a varied client portfolio. The successful Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the preparation of management accounts, working closely with senior accountants and partners while continuing their professional studies.
Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant– The Role
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for a range of SME clients
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting the production of VAT returns and statutory accounts
• Posting journals including accruals, prepayments and adjustments
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Liaising directly with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries
• Supporting year end processes and audit preparation where required
• Using cloud based accounting software and contributing to process improvements
Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant– About You
• Part qualified ACCA or CIMA actively studying
• Experience within an accountancy practice is essential
• Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping and management accounts preparation
• Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Competent with Excel and modern accounting systems
