This role will play a crucial part in keeping report production on schedule and maintaining the high quality that our customers expect.
*Take AI-processed interview and survey commentary and finish tidying it so that it is grammatically correct, error-free and easy to understand.
*Ensure all comments are rendered anonymous by removing or redacting anything that could identify the source.
*Maintain tone, clarity and neutrality of comments while preserving the meaning and nuance of the original speaker.
*Apply consistent house style and formatting so content is ready for use by writers and editors.
*Work to throughput targets and agreed quality standards to support timely report delivery (typical project lead times are around four weeks).
*Liaise with writers, editors and managers to clarify requirements and escalate issues that may affect delivery.
*Perform ad hoc operational tasks to support workflow.
Skills and Experience *Strong command of written English with excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling.
*Experience of proofreading, copy-editing or similar text-cleaning work.
*Ability to render text anonymous and to recognise and remove identifying details.
*Comfortable working with AI-generated text and confident making judgement calls about clarity and accuracy.
*Fast and accurate keyboard skills; able to process high volumes of text efficiently.
*Ability to follow prescribed style guides and to work to consistent standards.
*Reliable time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
*Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive information securely.
Person Specification *Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
*Clear written communication skills and an eye for natural, readable wording.
*Methodical and organised, with the ability to prioritise work under pressure.
*Proactive team player who can take direction and also work independently.
*Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and priorities during busy periods.
*Enthusiasm for learning about the research and publishing process.
