Job Description:
Work for a charity in Central London as a Governance Manager.
FTC 12 months - £54,000 - £58,000 pro rata.
Role Purpose
*This role will be responsible for a focused programme of governance improvement projects ensuring the charity maintains a robust and coherent governance framework.
*Working to the Head of Governance responsibilities include reviewing and updating the charities governance framework and approval processes, rationalising Board Committee Terms of Reference, and strengthening governance alignment.
*The role also encompasses coordinating board recruitment, appointments and inductions, maintaining statutory records and governance documentation, supporting regulatory filings in England and Scotland, and overseeing trustee training and development.
*Additionally, the postholder will assist in designing and implementing a project-managed framework for the charities national elections for Trustees and other elected officers.
Experience and skills
*Previous experience of working as a Governance Manager within a charity, membership or public sector organisation.

*Salary: £54,000 - £58,000 pro rata.
*Hybrid, 3 days on site.
