About the Role
The council is seeking an experienced Strategic Property Surveyor to join our Place & Property team on an interim basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a busy local authority property function, working alongside a supportive and knowledgeable team.

*Location: Grays (hybrid – 2 days in office, 3 days remote)
*Start Date: 10 March 2026
*Duration: 12 weeks
*Hours: 37 hours per week
*Rate: £340.95 per day (PAYE) | £458.24 per day (Limited/Umbrella)
*IR35 Status: Inside IR35
About You
You will be a skilled and commercially aware property professional with demonstrable experience in strategic property surveying, ideally within a local government or public sector environment. You will be comfortable working at a strategic level, managing competing priorities, and delivering results within tight timeframes.
