Our client is looking for a highly organised and proactive Service Co-ordinator to support the scheduling and operational delivery of lift engineering services.
This is a fast-paced, pivotal role responsible for managing approximately 100–150 reactive and planned service jobs per month. You will ensure engineers are deployed efficiently, customers are kept fully informed, and service standards are consistently met.

Role Overview
Working closely with engineers, management and the accounts team, you will take ownership of service scheduling, workload forecasting and job coordination to ensure smooth delivery across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate on-site repairs and maintenance visits for Lift Engineers
Manage a monthly workload of 100–150 reactive and planned jobs
Raise and issue chargeable quotations
Allocate labour and liaise with subcontractors when required
Issue RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
Proactively manage and reduce reactive call backlogs
Liaise with customers, site contacts and tenants to arrange access
Ensure correct parts are ordered and assigned to jobs
Forecast engineer workload and plan schedules at least three weeks in advance
Raise new jobs and ensure accurate and timely job closure
Prepare and submit invoice requests to the Accounts team
Maintain accurate system records and documentation
Work collaboratively across departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in a Service Co-ordinator, Scheduler or Planner role (engineering, construction, facilities management or similar environment preferred)
Experience coordinating field-based engineers
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Confident communicator with customers and subcontractors
Experience raising quotations and managing chargeable works
Good IT skills, including CRM/service management systems and Microsoft Office
High attention to detail and process-driven approach
