Purchase Ledger Clerk
Based: Bury
Salary: up to £28k + bonus + benefits including 25 days holiday, DIS, social events, gym membership and more


We are recruiting for a progressive & ambitious service business based in Bury (close to the M66). Having placed with this business last year, we can confirm you will be working within a great & supportive finance team
We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team, you will either have Purchase Ledger experience OR a desire to work in a finance role with a great attitude to learning
Role:
*Overseeing purchase ledger for a group of companies ensuring suppliers are paid promptly
*Managing Purchase Ledger inbox alongside others in finance
*Processing invoices & matching to POs, ensuring invoices posted correctly
*Processing weekly payment runs ensuring suppliers paid to agreed terms
*Processing employee expenses
*Setting up new supplier accounts, building relationships with suppliers reconciling statements & resolving queries
*Supporting management accountant with any ad hoc duties
Experience:
*Experience in Purchase Ledger OR desire to work in a Purchase Ledger role
*Strong attention to detail, able to work in a fast paced environment to tight deadlines
*Confident & keen to learn
*Strong experience across Microsoft packages including Excel
