Are you a technically minded problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Process & Documentation Engineer to join our clients electronics manufacturing team in Poole. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and loves being at the centre of technical operations.
About the Role
As a key technical support function within the business, you’ll work closely with production and every other department to ensure our processes, documentation, and equipment run smoothly. No two days look the same—this is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where your input genuinely makes a difference.
You’ll be involved in almost every corner of the company, supporting teams with technical queries, improving processes, and ensuring our manufacturing documentation is accurate and up to date. If you enjoy juggling multiple tasks and being the go-to person for technical clarity, this is for you.
Key Responsibilities
*Create, update, and maintain production documentation
*Program surface-mount, selective soldering, and conformal coating equipment
*Provide technical support to internal teams and respond to customer queries
*Carry out machine maintenance, calibration, and associated record-keeping
*Review documentation and identify best-practice production methods
*Support the commercial team with technical insight
*Assist production across all areas when required
*Approve BOMs within the company’s MRP system
What We’re Looking For
*Strong computer skills, including confident use of Excel
*Clear and professional telephone manner
*A positive, adaptable approach to work
*Exceptional attention to detail
*Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
*A collaborative mindset and strong team ethic
*Ability to work independently and recognise when to escalate issues
*Solid literacy and numeracy abilities
*Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple tasks
