Lodge Manager
My client, a prestigious organisation within the education sector based near St Clements, Oxford has an exciting opportunity to join their team as Lodge Manager.
The Lodge Manager will be responsible for security, including CCTV Management, ensuring that compliance and best practice are followed whilst ensuring the highest level of Customer Service across the team.
Whilst the hours for the role are 9-5:30pm, the successful candidate will have experience of managing a team working across multiple shift patterns and experience in a similar role within education, hotel or security services.
You will be entitled to a salary of £39k-48k plus a generous benefits package.
The Role
*Ensure the efficient running of the Lodge at all times, ensuring it is welcoming to all visitors and providing the highest standard of Customer Service
*To recruit, train and performance manage Lodge staff, acting as their line management
*Support the development and implementation of initiatives relating to security, ensuring the Aviglon System, CCTV equipment and data is retained in accordance with GDPR
*Responsible for the weekly fire alarm system testing and identify faults or misuse
*Manage the Lodge budget and maintain records of expenditure relating to equipment, agency cover and any other services
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience of managing a busy operational team
*Proven understanding of security, health & safety and other relevant legislation
*Excellent verbal and written communication
*Previous experience in a similar role within education, hotel or security services is highly desirable
