Interim Group Audit Project Manager – Immediate start
3-6 months / Birmingham / Hybrid / £400 - £500 per day OUTSIDE IR35
I’m recruiting an Interim Group Audit Project Manager for a large corporate business based in Birmingham who offer super flexible hybrid working, only 2 days on site.
As Interim Group Audit Project Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Finance team Project Managing to keep on track with onboarding a new Big 4 auditor, you’ll need to be flexible in your approach and have in depth experience & understanding of corporate audit processes.
Interim Group Audit Project Manager Duties:
*Monitoring and managing outstanding Group and Divisional audit requests with reference to the auditor online portal site. Daily trackers to be produced and circulated, and chasers to be sent to individuals concerned
*Tracking progress of the internal team against our daily plan, co-ordinating with different teams where required and providing regular updates on progress
*Responsible for refreshing the consolidation packs and divisional results packs from the consolidation system and creating a tracker of adjustments since the last version to fully reconcile between the two; and providing these to auditors and divisional teams
*Tracking responses from the divisions on appendix submissions to support the year end and chasing outstanding responses where required
*Responsible for collating the required information and populating several of the financial statements disclosure notes
*Performing mathematical and consistency checks on the financial statements (full call & cast etc)
*Supporting the head office team with audit requests and sampling, and ensuring completeness of key schedules ahead of the year end
*Assistance in compiling a data pack of key financial information ahead of the results announcement
*Other ad hoc support to the team as required
You will be / have:
*Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA)
*Big 4 / Top 10 trained or have 5 years + experience in Big 4
*Heavily involved in audits for Corporate environments
*Project Management experience
*Immediately Available / no more than 1 week
