Job Description:
CMA Recruitment Group is proud to be working exclusively with a growing and dynamic business based in Chichester, to recruit a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join their expanding team.
In this varied role, you will work closely with an experienced finance team and take ownership of the subcontractor process, ensuring payments are accurate, timely, and compliant. You’ll also play a key role in resolving queries efficiently and maintaining strong working relationships across the business.
What will the Part-Time Finance Assistant role involve?
*Managing high-volume subcontractor invoice processing, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and timely payment
*Preparing and submitting monthly CIS returns, ensuring accurate deductions and compliance with HMRC requirements
*Investigating and resolving subcontractor and internal queries relating to invoices, payments, and account discrepancies
*Assisting with project cost reporting, monitoring spend against budget, and highlighting variances
*Processing and reconciling intercompany transactions to ensure accurate allocation across group entities
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:
*Excellent interpersonal skills, able to liaise at all levels
*Organised and proactive
*Previous CIS experience would be an advantage
Additional benefits and information for the role of Finance Assistant:
*33 days holiday, including bank holidays
*Office-based role, 8am to 4pm (3 or 4 days a week)
*Health insurance after probation

*Central Chichester location with free parking
*Salary £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata
