Job Description:
Our client strengthens the financial performance and long-term resilience of its customers by enhancing their ability to innovate through a specialist advisory approach. As recognised thought leaders within the accountancy and finance sector, they prioritise building trusted, long-term relationships based on integrity, clarity, and technical expertise.
Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team. This pivotal role reports directly to the Financial Controller and offers the opportunity to take ownership of key reporting areas, compliance, and the integrity of financial processes.
Responsibilities include:
Providing financial analysis and cost allocation
Preparing financial and technical reporting
Supporting HMRC queries to ensure accuracy and compliance
Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes
Maintaining strong client relationships, including supporting onboarding activities.
The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-focused, and commercially minded, with a strong interest in tax, compliance, and financial analysis. Part-qualified and fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA professionals are encouraged to apply.
You will thrive in a structured environment and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work that stands up to scrutiny. Collaborative by nature, you’ll be comfortable supporting colleagues with specialist financial insight and managing multiple deadlines without compromising accuracy.
Knowledge of UK GAAP, accounting principles, and relevant tax regulations is desirable, and strong interpersonal and client-management skills are essential to engage effectively with senior stakeholders. This is an exceptional time to join a growing team, with genuine opportunities for personal and career progression.
