Job Description:
Title: Service manager - Leaving Care Team
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £450 Umbrella Per day ( £383 PAYE)
Hours per week: 37 hours per week
Contract type: Initially 3 months - potential to extend
Working on behalf of Peterborough City Council, we are looking for a service manager to lead the Children in care and Leaving care services.
About the Role*Provide operational leadership across our Children in Care and Leaving Care pathways.
*Line-manage Team Managers, Social Workers, and Personal Advisers.
*Ensure consistently good practice, robust oversight of permanence and reunification planning.
*Foster strong multi-agency collaboration to deliver improved outcomes for cared-for children and care-experienced young people.
About You*Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
*3 years perm experieince within a local authority
*Substantial leadership experience within Children’s Social Care.
*Reflective, proactive, and resilient, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
