Accounts Assistant / Oswestry Area / Up to £33,000 – Office-Based / Career Development Opportunity
I’m working with a well-established and busy accountancy practice in the Oswestry area, looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, office-based role supporting accounts preparation, VAT, payroll, and general accounting duties in a professional and friendly environment.
Previous accounts experience is essential, but we welcome candidates who are qualified by experience or looking to develop their career further.

Key duties include:
• Preparing accounts up to Final Accounts stage
• VAT return preparation and submission
• Assisting with payroll processing
• Supporting the team with general accounting tasks
• Maintaining accurate financial records and reports
Key attributes:
• Experienced in accounts preparation to Final Accounts
• Knowledge of VAT and payroll processes
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Organised, professional, and able to manage workload in a busy office
• Confident and willing to work as part of a team
• Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is desirable
• AAT (or equivalent) qualification is desirable
