Job Description:
Role Purpose
To provide high-quality care and early education for children aged 0–5 years in line with the EYFS framework and Little Elms’ Four Pillars curriculum.


The Level 3 Educator will ensure children are safe, stimulated, and supported to thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally within a warm, professional environment.



*Essential Requirements*Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (as recognised by the DfE).


*Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.


*Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.


*Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).


*Excellent communication skills.


*Right to work in the UK.


*Enhanced DBS check.

*Follow safeguarding policies and procedures in line with statutory guidance.


*Maintain accurate accident, incident, and welfare records.


*Promote positive behaviour using consistent and respectful strategies.


*Adhere to hygiene, health and safety, and mealtime standards.
2. Teaching & Learning*Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.

*Little Innovators – STEM and curiosity-led learning


*Little Well-Beings – emotional literacy and wellbeing



*Observe, assess and track children’s development.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Desirable*Experience working in a busy nursery setting.
Knowledge of SEND and inclusive practice.
Experience supporting quality improvement or room leadership.
