Legal Billing Assistant 6-mth FTC - City Law Firm - Remote or Hybrid!
£40,000-£50,000 doe.
This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Legal Billing Assistant to join a top Central London law firm to take on a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient function of the legal billing process whilst the firm migrate to the Aderant billing system. This can be carried out on a remote or hybrid working basis.
Duties:
Overall invoicing for partners and senior lawyers based in any of including:
*Generating bills/invoices - reviewing rates/VAT/Client details and amending accordingly if incorrect or have changed;
*Dealing with billing related queries coming into the Accounts mailbox (for all offices);
*Running monthly WIP report and sending out to all Partners for them to add comments;
*Sending out invoices to clients directly where requested;
*Posting and editing bills during the month on Timeslips and on e-billing systems;
*Posting expenses such as Counsel fee notes;
*Liaising and working closely with credit control and Banking relating to chasing and re-issuing of bills; and
*Liaising with clients and Partners to set-up of new vendors on e-billing systems as the E-billing project analyst.
Legal Billing and previous experience with Aderant is essential!
