CNC Operator
Pay: Up to £19 per hour (depending on experience)
Permanent role
Monday to Friday
07:00 -16:00
Location: Tyseley
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to work with CNC machines in a precision engineering environment. This role is ideal for a skilled operator who takes pride in quality, accuracy, and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities:
*Operating CNC machines to produce precision components
*Loading and unloading components and setting tools where required
*Monitoring machining processes to ensure parts are produced to specification
*Carrying out in-process inspection using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges)
*Making basic offsets and adjustments to maintain tolerances
*Reading and working from engineering drawings
*Ensuring machines are running efficiently with minimal downtime
*Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
*Following all health & safety and quality procedures
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience operating CNC machines
*Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
