KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Accountant for an excellent client based in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the MD this is a standalone role that would suit someone who is used to a fast-moving, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Prepare management accounts to trial balance
*Prepare schedules for external accountants
*Produce cash-flow forecasts and monitor working capital
*Prepare VAT returns and maintain statutory records
*Prepare and process monthly payroll
*Process bank and credit card reconciliations
*Process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts and prepare payment runs
*Produce and distribute sales invoices
*Chasing aged debt and resolving invoice queries
*Manage holidays and sickness
This role will suit someone with previous experience of working for an SME in a standalone role. Knowledge of Sage and Sage Payroll would be a benefit.
