Description
*Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
*Responsible for end-to-end management of exports from the UK to EU
*Carrier management
*Day-to-day account management for 3PL providers
*Day-to-day account management for all forwarders
*Providing, tracking & challenging forecasts & adherence for forwarders
*Responsible for SLA adherence at 3PL & forwarders
*Ensuring appropriate certification is available for imports & exports
Profile
A successful Logistics Specialist should have:
*Previous experience in logistics within the FMCG industry.
*Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
*Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
*A proactive approach to identifying and resolving logistical challenges.
