Job Description:
Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd are working with a well established business in Rochdale to appoint an experienced Sales & Finance Administrator. This Sales & Finance Administrator role is a key position within the team, offering a varied workload across sales support and finance administration. The successful Sales & Finance Administrator will play an important part in ensuring orders move smoothly from enquiry through to invoicing, while also supporting both the sales ledger and purchase ledger functions.

Sales & Finance Administrator – The Role
• Handling the full sales order process from initial enquiry through to dispatch
• Producing quotations, confirmations and all associated documentation
• Acting as a first point of contact for customer queries via phone and email
• Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries
• Maintaining accurate customer records, pricing and product information
• Producing sales reports and supporting the wider sales team with administration
Sales & Finance Administrator – Responsibilities
*Raising invoices, credit notes and customer statements
*Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
*Supporting credit control and following up on outstanding balances
*Investigating and resolving invoice or billing queries
*Ensuring all VAT and pricing information is applied accurately
*Processing supplier invoices and matching to purchase orders and delivery notes
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
*Assisting with payment runs to ensure suppliers are paid on time
*Maintaining accurate records and supporting month end activities
*Communicating with suppliers regarding invoice queries
Sales & Finance Administrator – About You
• Previous experience in a Sales Administrator or finance administration role
• Working knowledge of sales ledger and or purchase ledger processes
• Confident using Microsoft Office including Excel
• Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
• Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working with figures and financial data
• Experience of CRM or ERP systems would be advantageous
