Semi Senior/Senior Accountant - Sheffield Regional Accountancy Firm
The Role
Barber McLelland is working in partnership with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in Sheffield who are looking to appoint Semi Senior or Senior Accountant to work within the firms Sheffield office.
The business is seen as one of the choice employers within the regional accountancy market, they offer employees excellent training facilities and provide individuals with a highly structured and supportive environment to help continue their career development.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of accountancy practice experience, with knowledge of preparing statutory accounts for final review.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role of Accounts Semi Senior/Senior will work within a highly experienced team and will be responsible for the following:
*The preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
*Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts (training to be provided)
*Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
*Preparation of VAT
*Develop skills within the very latest accounting software tools
*Support managers with client issues and queries
Skills and Qualities
The successful applicant must have developed a minimum of 3 years of experience working within the accountancy profession and will be part-qualified AAT, ACA/ACCA. Applications would also be welcome from individuals who have decided not to pursue the formal qualifications route.
Remuneration
*£28,000 - £35,000
