You will be joining a well-established organisation in Loughborough with a strong reputation and operations across multiple UK and international sites. The business is growing and offers a supportive, collaborative working culture. They are seeking a Finance Assistant on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent role depending on performance and business needs.

Your new role
You will play a key part in the finance function, supporting daily operations and accuracy across multiple systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Goods receipting of items
*Preparing weekly sales and cashflow reports for senior management
*Tracking export duties
*Managing invoicing for both UK and US operations
*Chasing outstanding customer payments
*Processing customer refunds via email and CRM systems
*Managing returns and customer queries
*Handling intercompany recharges and invoices
*Monitoring daily API errors and logging/resolving issues
*Escalating unresolved cases to the FC
*Generating payment request links
*Supporting month-end
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be well-suited to this role if you have:
*Experience in sales ledger, invoicing or accounts receivable
*Strong reconciliation ability and high accuracy
*Confidence using accounting software and multiple systems simultaneously
*Effective organisational and time-management skills
*Ability to work to deadlines, particularly at month-end
*A proactive and solutions-focused approach
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
*Experience with Sage 200 or similar finance systems
*Experience working with multi-currency ledgers
