Teaching Assistant
Location: Medway
Contract: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Setting: Secondary School
Start Date: ASAP or by agreement
Are you a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated TA to support students with high needs within a welcoming secondary school in Medway.
About the Role:
*Full-time position, Monday to Friday
*Supporting students with high needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis
*Assisting with learning, behaviour regulation, and classroom engagement
*Working collaboratively with SENDCo, teachers, and other support staff
*Helping create an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes independence and progress
Requirements:
*Experience supporting students with high needs, SEN, or behavioural needs (preferred)
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Patience, empathy, and a positive, proactive attitude
*Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students
*A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
