Supply SEN Teaching Assistant- BirminghamAre you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join our supply team in Birmingham.
About the RoleAs a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with a range of special educational needs, which may include:
*Autism (ASC)
*ADHD
*SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
*Speech, language & communication needs
*Moderate or severe learning difficulties
You’ll work across a variety of schools, giving you fantastic experience while helping young people thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities*Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with SEN
*Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
*Assist teachers with classroom organisation and behaviour support
*Use creative, nurturing approaches to engage pupils
*Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
What We’re Looking For*Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, residential, care or youth work experience all welcomed!)
*A calm, patient and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
