Job Title: Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Blackley
Start Date: Monday 2nd March
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: £106 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking a committed and compassionate Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Blackley, starting Monday 2nd March.
This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), even if you do not hold a formal TA qualification. A passion for supporting young people and a proactive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
* Support students with EHCPs and additional learning needs
* Assist the class teacher with tailored learning activities
* Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
* Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs
Requirements: * Experience working with children or young people (school, care, youth work or similar)
* A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS certificate (Child Workforce or Child & Adult Workforce) - MUST be on the Update Service or issued recently
* Available full-time
* Able to start Monday 2nd March
