The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Junior Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the production of accurate and timely financial information to drive business decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
*Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
*Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
*Assisting with accruals, prepayments and journal postings.
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
*Analysing costs and margins within a fast-moving FMCG environment.
*Supporting stock accounting and margin analysis (experience in beverages or manufacturing is advantageous).
*Assisting with year-end preparation and audit requirements.
*Working closely with operational teams to provide financial insight and support.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in a finance role (Assistant Accountant / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant level).
*Actively studying towards ACCA / CIMA (or AAT qualified with progression plans).
*Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems.
*Experience within an FMCG, manufacturing or beverages environment would be highly beneficial.
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
*Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
