Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Technician(Test & Validation) to join our Product Development team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end testing of new Hardware instruments, subassemblies, and accessories. This role bridges the gap between engineering and the customer, ensuring our hardware and "beta" software builds meet rigorous performance and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities * Prototype Validation: Set up and execute comprehensive test protocols for new instruments and electromechanical subassemblies
* Software QA: Conduct beta testing on system software; identify, document, and report bugs or functional observations to the development team
* Technical Reporting: Analyze test data and produce clear, actionable reports on instrument performance
* Laboratory Management: Maintain the instrument showroom and lab environment, ensuring equipment is calibrated, organized, and ready for high-level external presentations
Requirements & Qualifications * Background: Experience with mechanical or electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing or R&D environment - would suit a graduate
* Education: A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities; general IT skills, MS Office and databases
* Core Competencies: High level of precision, excellent interpersonal communication, and a proactive approach to laboratory organization
