JOB ROLE - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Sales Executive for Fusion, you will be on the front line of delivering our annual occupancy and rental income targets. Sitting within a central sales team you will be responsible for responding to inbound booking enquiries for all sites within our large (and growing) portfolio.
We want you to start the journey of delighting our customers from their very first interaction with us. Whilst your primary goal will be to convert enquiries into bookings, we want you to be a brand advocate, supporting our potential customers with answers to key questions they might have during their booking journey.
Supported by a strong, market-leading brand, generating high levels of demand, you will be responsible for responding to customer interest via phone, live chat, email, web enquiry and WhatsApp, amongst other channels.


Your responsibilities include:
CUSTOMER SERVICE
*Yes, you are here to sell but to the customer you’re also a key component of the customer service. To complete their booking our customers will be hungry for information about our sites, our rooms and our market leading services. You should support all sales leads with this information and support them through the journey.
*Interaction with site operations teams will be essential, if you don’t know the answer to a question, ask them. If a potential customer needs something out of the ordinary, liaise with our delivery teams and ask what’s possible.
DELIVER INCOME TARGETS
*Maximise revenue targets by strong customer engagement and utilising upselling opportunities
*Be rigorous and structured in your approach to lead management, if you say you will follow up next week, follow up next week!
*Lean heavily on the power of our brand and the experience we deliver to students to convert leads into bookings
*Communicate on a human level via digital platforms. Most of our enquiries will come via digital platforms like live chat or social media, it’s therefore essential that you speak and behave like a human and interact with potential customers in a friendly and open way
REPORTING
*To make sure we maximise the potential of all enquires, it is essential to ensure we maintain the accuracy of our CRM platform. This includes logging all activity and communications you have with a prospect.
*Reporting the reason why a booking didn’t complete is just as important as celebrating when one does. Understanding sales challenges gives us the ability to learn and adapt

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
*Track record of exceptional sales performance.
*Experience in managing PBSA or Build-to-Rent lettings / sales.
*CRM and booking systems.
*Live chat, WhatsApp, email and other sales channel experience.
*Resilience and adaptability.
*Cultural diversity awareness.
Desirable:
*Experience in other markets.
*Relevant Business or Hospitality degree.
*Competency in other languages.
*Experience working with diversity and in different markets.
