Job Description:
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Registered Mental Nurse / Registered Nurse Learning Disability to join our team!
Alexander House is a wheelchair-accessible home in the Savile Park area of Halifax. We are a homely and relaxed residential care home. We have 18 bedrooms, ten ensuite and several accessible bathrooms throughout the home to support individuals with a physical disability.
We work closely with our residents, the people who are important to them and our local care teams to ensure the people we support at Alexander House live well in our homely surroundings. Our staff are experienced in supporting individuals 24 hours a day, safely. We have experience supporting people who live with the early symptoms of Dementia.
What You’ll be Doing
*Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents
*Administer medications and treatments
*Monitor and assess residents’ health and well-being
*Develop and implement individualized care plans
*Collaborate with families and care professionals to provide the best care.
*Maintain accurate care and documentation
*Support residents in achieving their personal health goals
What You’ll Need
*NMC Registered Nurse Pin
*Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
*Strong understanding of physical disabilities, respite care, and younger adults
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Knowledge in CQC regulations. and Safety Standards
