Account Manager - Professional Membership Organisation - £32k (OTE £37k) - Central London
An Account Manager is required by this professional Membership Organisation. As theAccount Manager, you’ll be driving membership growth, developing corporate partnerships and strengthening relationships that make a real impact. You’ll work closely with the Head of Operations and the Marketing team to turn leads into lasting partnerships, support existing members and unlock new revenue streams. If you enjoy consultative selling, meaningful conversations and being part of a collaborative team, this is the role for you.
SALARY ETC:
*£32,000 with on target earnings of £37,000.
*Hybrid – 2 days office based near St James Park. 3 days working remote from home.
*Permanent, full-time
*Start: ASAP
REQUIREMENTS:
*B2B Sales experience essential
*Experience in a member body, professional body, trade association or engineering
*Ability to influence and support customer journey start to finish, ability to sell consultatively, understanding customer pain points.
*Strong rapport building skills = developing long term relationships
*Great communicator, confidence presenting remotely. Numerate with a good standard of literacy. Ability to use own initiative, work well as part of a wider team and confidence to bring forward new ideas
*Goal oriented, positive attitude, proactive approach to challenges, no hesitation to offer support or ask for it.
*GCSE grade pass in English/Math
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
*As theAccount Manager, you’ll be driving membership growth, developing corporate partnerships and strengthening relationships that make a real impact.
*You’ll work closely with the Head of Operations and the Marketing team to turn leads into lasting partnerships, support existing members and unlock new revenue streams.
*Prospect and convert both warm and cold leads across B2C and B2B audiences
*Grow Corporate Partnerships and develop new business opportunities
*Sell sponsorship packages for the trade flagship annual event
*Contribute to innovative membership recruitment campaigns
*Represent brands at exhibitions and industry events
*Be the first point of contact for new and prospective members
*Conduct account reviews with Corporate Partners
*Lead renewal conversations and strengthen long-term retention
*Upsell relevant products and value-added services
*Facilitate smooth payment processes and support billing queries
