WPRG have an opportunity for HGV Driver Class 1 Drivers to work on a temporary ongoing or temp to perm basis for our client based in Dagenham - Essex.
Deliveries to various stores around the south of England in a class 1 vehicle
*Long distance driving
*Trunking
*No Handball
*Start times 3am
*Average 12 hours each shift
*Assessment is required (Theory Test and Short Drive)
*All drivers must be presented appropriately and require a good level of English skills due to the nature of the job.
*Monday - Friday / Weekend work (Saturday and or Sundays)
Pay Rates (PAYE including holiday pay) for HGV Driver Class 1.
*Monday - Friday £17.81ph / Nights £19.53ph
*Saturday:£22.53 ph
*Sunday: £23.81 ph
*Bank Holiday: £28.95 ph
*Minimum 9hrs guaranteed pay per shift
You must fulfil the following for this HGV Driver Class 1 position:
*Hold a Valid UK Driving Licence
*Holds a Digital tachograph card
*Holds a CPC card
*No more than 6 points for insurance reasons
*Valid UK class 1 licence
*You will need to do an onsite assessment before you can start.
*At least 6 months experience on class 1.
