Job Description:
Finance and Admin Officer | Whitstable/Remote | £30,000
A new and exclusive role - our client is seeking a Finance and Admin Officer to take ownership of the day-to-day finance and administration. This role is remote with occasional travel for meetings to Whitstable and London once or twice a month. This role sits at the core of the operation, shaping a seamless and standout experience. You’ll be a key player in keeping our processes running smoothly while supporting vital administration and finance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Chasing overdue payments
*Processing supplier invoices
*Dealing with customer and supplier queries via telephone contact
*Processing and reconciliation of monthly credit card statements
*Prepare bank reconciliations
*Reconciliation and maintenance of company fixed asset register
*Occasional management and banking of cash
*Co-ordinate membership engagement activities
*Managing and maintaining the database ensuring accurate and up to date records
*Process accurate financial transactions connect to membership including generating invoices
*Administer applications, payments and communication
*Production of resources for member packs, content, website updates and mailing campaigns
*Ad hoc duties will include coordinating meetings and assist with event set up
Ideal Candidate:
*Proven experience within finance and accounts position
*Excellent administration and organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
*High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
*Experience Sage 50
