Are you an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk looking to join a dynamic team in Milton Keynes? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Ledger Clerk to manage and support central accounts function across multiple branches. This role is to cover whilst the permanent recruitment drive moves forward
Key Responsibilities:
*Posting daily banking transactions

*Processing and reconciling incoming payments

*Managing customer accounts (debtors) and handling credit control duties, including chasing overdue payments and resolving queries

*Ensuring accurate posting of transactions to the general ledger

*Managing ad hoc financial duties, including staff expenses and fines

*Liaising with internal departments to resolve customer account issues

*Assisting with month-end close procedures and reconciliations

*Supporting the finance team in continuous improvement of processes

What We’re Looking For:
*Experience in Sales Ledger

*Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and in-house systems

*Experience working in a robust financial environment with multi-site operations

*Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach

*Strong communication skills with confidence in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders

*Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and take on evolving responsibilities
