Job Title: Yard Operative with FLT
Location: Bacup, OL13
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - Early Finish

About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative with FLT to join our busy engineering company based in Bacup (OL13).
This is a varied and hands-on role working within a full engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day yard operations while also assisting other members of staff across the business when required.
This is a rewarding position suited to someone who is proactive, practical, and confident thinking on their feet.
Key Responsibilities * Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT)
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Managing and organising yard stock and materials
* Supporting workshop and engineering staff when required
* Assisting with general yard duties and housekeeping
* Ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently around site
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Requirements * Valid FLT licence (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence (advantageous)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proactive attitude with the ability to think on your feet
* Willingness to take initiative and support the wider team
* Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment
