We are seeking a Buyer to join our Procurement & Supply Chain department within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of purchasing and supply chain processes to support business operations.

Description
The Responsibilities if the Buyer will be;
*Procure goods and services in line with company policies and procedures.
*Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
*Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
*Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet production schedules.
*Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
*Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier details.
*Identify and resolve supply chain issues promptly.
*Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Procurement & Supply Chain department.
Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
*Proven experience in procurement within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
*Ideally CIPS Level 4 not essential.
*Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
*Good understanding of supply chain processes and practices.
*Proficiency in relevant software and systems for procurement.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
*Commutable to Coleford 4 days per week with 1 day from home.
