We are looking for a commercially driven, relationship-focused National Account Manager to take full ownership of our Key Distributors and Wholesale accounts. This is a high-impact role responsible for delivering budget targets, driving growth, and providing an extraordinary level of service to our customers.
You will own and manage the commercial strategy for our Key Distributors and Wholesale product range — building strong partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring seamless delivery across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management and Growth
*Full account management responsibility for Key Distributors and Wholesale customers
*Deliver agreed sales and margin targets
*Conduct regular business reviews, performance analysis and forecasting
*Drive growth through upselling, range extensions and new product development
*Identify and secure new listings across existing and new accounts
*Win new business within the sector
Commercial Strategy and Negotiation
*Lead customer meetings to sell, negotiate and secure new product listings
*Develop commercially viable propositions using predefined P&L templates
*Maintain strong commercial discipline with full understanding of margin drivers
*Work collaboratively with NPD to deliver compelling new product opportunities
Forecasting, Planning and Operations
*Own monthly product forecasting for your sector
*Work closely with production planners to ensure accurate supply planning
*Contribute to forecasting and planning processes
Administration and Internal Collaboration
*Manage all customer administration as necessary
*Collaborate with Finance
*Ensure customer systems and internal data are accurate and up to date
*Share key account insights and data updates across the business
About You
You are commercially sharp, highly organised, and confident influencing at all levels. You bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Experience Required
*Proven experience managing FMCG brands
*Strong negotiation experience
*Experience operating within an FMCG environment
*Demonstrable forecasting and demand planning experience
*Strong commercial acumen with excellent planning and forecasting skills
*Spreadsheet capability to support production planning
Skills and Attributes
*Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
*Natural influencer with strong negotiation ability
*Commercially numerate with full understanding of profit & loss
*Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
*Self-starter with high levels of initiative
*Positive, energetic and passionate with the ability to inspire others
*Constructive challenger who listens well and responds to feedback
*Flexible and willing to travel across the UK
