Graphic Designer – Montezuma’s & Bristows Location: Chapeltown, S35 2PY | Full-time, Permanent
Are you a creative visionary with a passion for design and a love of sweets? We’re seeking a highly imaginative Graphic Designer to bring our iconic brands, Montezuma’s and Bristows of Devon, to life. This is your chance to design standout packaging, promotional materials, and licensed artwork that delight customers, support commercial goals, and make a real impact on some of Britain’s most loved confectionery brands.
About the RoleYou’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our brands, working across teams to take projects from concept to final production. Your designs will reflect the adventurous spirit of Montezuma’s chocolates and the heritage craftsmanship of Bristows’ handmade sweets. You’ll collaborate with the NPD team, Commercial Director (Brand & Licensing), Marketing, Sales, Technical, Procurement, and E-Commerce teams to ensure every piece of work is on-brand, cost-effective, and compliant with legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Create innovative and engaging artwork for packaging and promotional materials.
*Develop and evolve product ranges to meet customer needs and market trends.
*Present creative concepts and ideas to internal teams and senior stakeholders.
*Manage licensed branded artwork from concept to final approval.
*Ensure all artwork complies with current legislation, labelling requirements, and trading standards.
*Deliver multiple projects to deadline while maintaining high standards of quality.
*Travel occasionally to meet customers, licensors, and other Group offices.
About You:
*Highly creative with the ability to push boundaries and think differently.
*Strong commercial awareness, designing across varying price points.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Strong brand awareness with attention to detail.
*Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
*Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
*Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
