Job Description:
We are urgently seeking an experienced Purchasing Administrator to support a busy buying and procurement team on a short-term basis. This role is critical to helping meet immediate production targets and would suit someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key part in keeping production on track by supporting core purchasing and administrative tasks, including:
*Retrieving Bill of Materials (BoM) data and flagging any discrepancies
*Raising basic RFQs and Purchase Orders within the MRP system
*Chasing supplier lead times and following up on catalogue purchases
*Reconciling and organising invoices from previous orders
*Supporting online store purchasing and basket setup
*Conducting basic stock checks and capturing data within the Stores function
What We’re Looking For
Required:
*Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Outlook)
*3+ years’ experience in a purchasing administration role
*Understanding of RFQs, POs and invoice processes
*Confident communicator with strong organisational skill
*On-site presence in Fareham at least three days per week is essential to ensure familiarity with the product and processes.
*This is a short-term contract supporting immediate production needs, with an ASAP start.
