Job Description:
PROJECT MANAGER
We are recruiting on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation based in SE1 for a Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new finance system, ensuring it is delivered on time, fit for purpose, and successfully embedded across the organisation. The role will also oversee project management of the internal audit process and support a governance review, ensuring effective planning and coordination. Hybrid working is offered within an organisation focused on education, cultural exchange, and strengthening relationships.
PROJECT MANAGER ROLE:
*Planning and managing the project
*Working with the finance team, staff, the system supplier and other stakeholders
*Coordinating timelines, tasks, risks and dependencies
*Supporting ongoing system setup, testing, data migration and training
*Ensuring staff are supported through the change
*Reporting progress and issues to the chief operating officer (line manager) and senior leadership team
*Planning the audit timetable and key milestones
*Coordinating meetings, interviews and information requests
*Tracking progress, risks and dependencies
*Managing documentation and evidence
PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIALS:
*Managing IT or business system projects
*Demonstrating strong organisation and communication skills
*Working effectively with non-technical users and suppliers
*Applying practical problem-solving with a delivery focus
