With a long-standing, stable team and a strong values-led culture, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function within a business that prides itself on quality and sustainability.
This is a hands-on role reporting directly to Finance Director, offering real visibility and the opportunity to influence operational and strategic decision-making.
Role responsibilities:
*Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, alongside leading the annual budget, reforecasting cycles and cash flow planning.
*Take overall responsibility for the finance function, providing leadership and direction to two direct reports.
*Manage daily financial operations, covering purchase and sales ledger, payroll oversight, bank reconciliations and general ledger integrity.
*Strengthen and uphold internal controls, oversee year-end statutory accounts preparation and contribute to risk management processes.
*Produce weekly KPI reporting and quarterly management accounts to support senior leadership decision-making.
*Partner with operational teams and liaise with external stakeholders to provide commercial insight and financial support.
*Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory and tax obligations across the business.
Key requirements:
*Recognised finance qualification or significant practical experience operating at a similar level.
*Strong background across financial and management accounting.
*Proven experience leading and developing a small finance team.
*Advanced Excel capability and confident working with financial systems.
*Clear communicator, comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels, with high attention to detail.
