8 hour shifts (finish time dependent on workload)

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Baker with a strong understanding of laminated and enriched doughs. This is a hands-on production role ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality baked goods and thrives in a team-focused bakery environment.
Production is fast-paced, and while shifts are 8 hours, the team works until the day’s production is complete. On busier days, everyone works together to ensure targets are met.

Duties
*Preparing laminated and enriched dough products, including pastries and specials
*Managing the full production process from dough preparation to baking
*Working to established recipes and production schedules
*Assessing dough readiness and adjusting processes accordingly
*Supporting stock control and ingredient rotation
*Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
*Assisting with routine compliance and safety checks
*Contributing to a positive and efficient production environment
Key Requirements
*Previous experience in a bakery or pastry environment
*Strong practical knowledge of lamination, fermentation, and dough handling
*Confident managing production from preparation through to baking
*Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail
*Physically able to lift heavy dough and ingredient bags
*Team-focused attitude and willingness to support colleagues on busy production days
