THE ROLE:
This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied non-contentious private client caseload, with scope to undertake contentious probate matters as your practice develops. There is real flexibility to shape a mixed contentious and non-contentious workload, tailored to your skills, experience and professional interests. You will be supported by a knowledgeable and well regarded private client team, with access to high quality supervision and ongoing professional development. The position provides clear opportunities for career progression, allowing you to grow your expertise while making a meaningful contribution to a thriving private client department.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will be a Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE and proven experience managing your own caseload. A STEP Diploma is desirable, though not essential. You should have a strong background in wills, probate, powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications and trusts. Experience working with high net worth individuals is desirable, while estate planning and farming or rural client experience would be highly advantageous. You will be confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, fully IT-literate and committed to delivering excellent client care. Strong interpersonal skills, self motivation and an interest in business development are essential to succeed in this role.
