Our Client is recruiting an Accounts Receivable Clerk to strengthen its order-to-cash function during a period of growth and system change. This hands-on role is central to cash flow and billing accuracy: you’ll prepare invoices, allocate receipts, reconcile ledgers and help drive ERP-related improvements. You’ll work closely with Finance, IT and Operations to resolve customer queries, improve processes and support system testing and documentation.

Responsibilities
*Produce and issue accurate customer invoices and credit notes in line with agreements and tax rules.
*Post and allocate customer receipts; investigate and resolve unallocated cash.
*Perform daily, weekly and month-end AR reconciliations, including subledger to general ledger checks.
*Run AR reports to support credit control and chase overdue balances.
*Maintain customer master data and clean ledger records.
*Assist with ERP testing, validation rules, exception reporting and release activities.
*Create and update standard operating procedures and user guides.
Required Skills
*2–4 years’ practical accounts receivable / sales ledger experience.
*Solid understanding of invoicing, cash application and reconciliations.
*Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
*Proficient with spreadsheets (pivot tables, lookups).
Nice to Have Skills
*Experience with modern ERPs (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
*Involvement in ERP implementation,/migrations.
*Experience building validation/exception reports and delivering user training.
*AAT study or part-qualification.
Preferred Education and Experience
*A-levels or equivalent; accounting qualification (AAT) desirable.
*Prior experience in a fast-paced commercial finance team.
Other Requirements
*Office-based role with limited hybrid flexibility (typically one day WFH).
