Salary: £50 to £75ph
*Join a long established multi office law firm in Somerset, on a Locum basis.
*Requirement is for a senior/experienced Commercial Property Solicitor/Lawyer to join the team to cover a recruitment gap.
*Handling a Commercial Property caseload, whilst also carrying out team supervisory and management duties.
*Position is to start mid to end March 2026 on a 4 or 5 day per week basis.
*Initial 3 months in duration with scope for extension thereafter likely and this role requires some on site time (could be as little as one day per week or two), with the rest remote and flexible.
Position Overview
Our client, an established multi-office high street practice, is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Locum Solicitor/Lawyer to join their team. Hybrid and flexible working feasible and good scope to take on management and team duties.
As a Commercial Property Locum Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of work including buying and selling of commercial property and land, landlord & tenant, option agreements, conditional contracts, agricultural land, development work, leases and licences, etc.
Responsibilities
*Manage a diverse commercial property caseload.
*Work autonomously.
*Provide excellent legal advice to clients.
*Support the commercial property team effectively, including supervising juniors.
*Handle matters from instruction to completion.
Requirements
*5+ years’ experience in commercial property law.
*Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent.
*Proven ability to work on a standalone basis.
*Strong communication and client care skills.
