Finance Assistant | Southampton - Hybrid | Graduate Opportunity | £26-£32,000
A well-established financial services company is looking for a detailed-focused graduate to support the Finance team. This role is an excellent entry point into the world of finance, offering hands on experience with core accounting processes and financial controls.
About the Role:
Produce monthly financial data and contribute to preparation of an accurate trial balance.
Review balance sheet activity and resolving any issue that arises.
Assist with updates to financial reporting, system functionality, and internal processes.
Follow established controls to ensure all finance activity meets governance standards.
Prepare and organise information required for external audit reviews. Working closely with teams across the finance function to support consistency.
About You:
A recent graduate with an accounting / finance degree and strong academic background.
Comfortable engaging with senior colleagues.
Able to work effectively in a complex environment with strong attention to detail.
