The Finance team are a sociable, engaging team supporting a customer-centric and innovative Business Function. The team are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support their Finance Director in a broad and busy role.
Your new role
This new position will report to the Finance Director, working in a broad and busy role. The Accounts Assistant will interact closely with various departments across the company. Core responsibilities include:
> Accounts Payable; processing invoices, raising PO’s, payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations
> Accounts Receivable; processing invoices, resolving queries and allocating payments
> Intercompany reconciliations
> Month-end responsibilities, including journal posting
> Supporting at year-end with Audit queries
What you’ll need to succeed
> Proactivity and problem-solving attitude
> Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and exercise judgment.
> Sage knowledge and experience of the Sage Line 50 package.
> Multitasking is organised and open to additional responsibilities.
