Job Description:
ICT Technician - Eastleigh - Temporary role for 8-12 weeks - pay rate £18.71 - £19.75 depending on experience - Full time hours office based
We’re looking for a skilled ICT Technician to join our client and provide high-quality technical support across multiple sites. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving technical problems, and delivering excellent customer service this could be the role for you.
Duties include:
*Installing, maintaining and supporting ICT hardware, software and associated equipment.
*Providing high-quality, customer-focused technical support to users at all levels.
*Troubleshooting incidents, resolving technical issues and updating service records accurately.
*Supporting the installation of racks, cabling, sockets and network-connected devices.
*Administering systems, contributing to infrastructure support and assisting with project work.
*Managing ICT equipment lifecycle including deployment, upgrades and decommissioning.
*Liaising with third-party suppliers to ensure service levels are met.
*Producing documentation including procedures, technical notes and configuration updates.
*Participating in an out-of-hours support rota when required.
*Ensuring compliance with data protection, security and internal policies
Skills and experience required
*3+ years working in ICT Service Delivery.
*5+ years supporting ICT hardware in a complex environment.
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Active Directory.
*Experience supporting data and communications networks.
*Experience with desktop builds and maintenance.
*Knowledge of ICT security principles and best practices.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
