Clinical Negligence Solicitor | 3-6 PQE | Manchester | Hybrid Working
A leading defendant Clinical Negligence team are seeking a dedicated Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their Manchester Healthcare team. This is an exciting opportunity to represent defendants in high-value and complex clinical negligence matters while managing a diverse range of cases from inception to completion.
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will:
*Manage a varied caseload of high-value defendant clinical negligence matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
*Provide expert legal advice on clinical negligence claims, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key case documents.
*Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to inform case strategy.
*Draft pleadings, witness statements, expert instructions, and correspondence.
*Liaise with clients, medical professionals, counsel, and experts to gather evidence and progress matters effectively.
*Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations as required.
*Assist with client relationship management and care initiatives.
*Supervise and support more junior team members where appropriate.
What we are looking for:
*3-6 years’ PQE with strong experience in defendant clinical negligence matters.
*Proven experience in handling complex, high-value cases.
*Experience in group litigation is desirable.
*Excellent drafting negotiation, and advocacy skills.
*Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and independently.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
*Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
